The Human Footprint Hogging up 83% of earth's land--wow! Now this is important information. I believe awareness is key. Being able to visualize human influence on the land may help us to change our future behavior. New Scientist Wow! Food scraps turned into fuel for your home. Remember "Back to the future 2" when Doc returns with the car they used for time travel and begins putting in empty beer cans and garbage to use as fuel for their next trip? This is so cool! Reason My goodness. It is quite sobering to read an article that plainly states the injustice our country inflicts upon third world countries struggling with poverty. It seems Congress can do something to lift the burden from these countries. That they do nothing is disturbing. Where is the outrage? Anyone who reads this article, please, tell all of your friends about it. When they say it can't be true, just send them to my blog and tell them to check out the article I posted on, this, the third day of October.
