Instead of trying to fight bootlegging by completely stifling music-download sites like Kazaa and Morpheus, popular bands should work to control the music they put out. The music industry, I've always argued, should become the Kazaa's of the world. If they want to still make money, they can charge for the service. People will still go to the stores to buy their favorite CDs.
