Finally, I can say with certainty that I know what happened to my ancestors. They were annihilated! Really, though, this is an amazing claim. I have often wondered - when looking at
Humped-back whales
  and
Amazonian Manatees
- why I feel a connection with these wonderful beings. Maybe these creatures are survivors of this huge event.
