As someone who knows many people that suffer or has suffered with diabetes,this news is exciting. The way scientists are moving forward with stem cell research, it seems there is no end to what can be accomplished. Maybe they will find a way to also detect cancer of the pancreas with this same method. My grandmother and two uncles died of pancreatic cancer. Stem cells
Stem Cellare being used for so many things, I can't help but wonder when stem cells can be used for people such as myself - I have muscular dystrophy. Right now, I am looking into whether or not I can inject adult stem cells into my diaphragm in order to strengthen it. I was thinking about my own stem cells in my bone marrow, or to use stem cells from my brother who is closest to me in age.
