Scientists are interested in using research in order to find cures of many different diseases. Try speaking to those afflicted with these conditons. If science can do something to help millons of people become healthier, it makes no sense to stifle the inevitable. It seems the only way this kind of research will ever be allowed to flourish is when every one in the world has a family member directly affected by a disease only "stem cells" may cure.
