Wired News: It's a Lovely Day in Outer Space I find this to be fascinating. Just looking at the Sun you wouldn't think there are solar storms that affect the earth. After all, it looks like a constant ball of fire. Most people know that the Moon affects ocean currents. It only makes sense that the Sun would be a factor as well.
